(04/11/08) New Ramp Installed

As summer approaches our dock project is nearing completion. The new ramp to the main runway is now in place - just in time for a nice Spring low tide!

(04/07/08) They're Back!

Regular as clockwork! Warren noticed our special friends are back on the nest this morning. We don't usually see them until April 9 - maybe they are early because it's leap year! Whatever the reason, we are always happy to see them return. If you are lucky enough to be in Robinhood this summer on July 30, Don Hudson from Chewonki will be presenting a lecture on "The Life and Times of the Osprey". We are looking forward to learning more about these elusive creatures. Hope you can join us.

(04/04/08) Waste Plant Upgrade

One of the three major projects we've undertaken this winter is the replacement of our tired waste treatment system with a new Cromaglass 3000. (enough said)

(04/02/08) First Boat Launch of the Season

It may still feel like March, but "Naledi" made her April 1st launch deadline anyway. For as many years as we can remember, the C&C 29, "Naledi" has been the first one in and the last one out in the fall. She sails faithfully, rain or shine all season long!

Another early launch yesterday was the Kadey Krogen 42, "Barnacle". Her owner will be readying her for a voyage to the Chesapeake later this spring. By the way, she is currently on the market so if you would like to view this fine yacht before she heads south, please contact David Perry 800-255-5206.

This is just the beginning of a very busy launching season. Stay tuned!

(03/19/08) Despite today's snow...

Tom Donovan works diligently to get floats in place. We'll see what Spring brings us tomorrow!
