An update on what is happening at Robinhood:
We are currently operating normally, although with a slightly reduced staff level as a result of employee health needs. We are doing everything we can to keep the those at work healthy and safe with daily cleanings and the sanitizing of door knobs and other commonly touched surfaces and all common areas. We generally work with substantial distance between individuals and have reinforced the need to be mindful of proximities. The yard and marina are closed to the public – only employees and deliveries are allowed in/around any of the buildings. We are following all Maine CDC guidelines to minimize transmission of the COVID-19 virus.
If your boat is stored outside or in the water you are allowed to visit/work on it. However, due to the Maine CDC guidelines all buildings including the public bathrooms are locked and unavailable for your use.
We are cautiously optimistic (and hopeful) that the crisis will not overly effect the summer season at Robinhood. We continue to plan and schedule the launchings as normal. There are a number of boats that requested an early ready date. Unfortunately we are unable to accommodate all of these requests with our reduced crew size. PLEASE REVIEW YOUR REQUESTED READY DATE. WE ASK THAT IF YOUR PLANS HAVE CHANGED OR IF THEY DO, that you let us know as soon as possible so that we can respond accordingly as quickly as possible. This is important information for us as we begin to remove the winter covers.
We look ahead to a summer of families and friends, with all enjoying the special community that is Robinhood.
Above all, stay and be well.
